The Books & Beans café originally opened in August 2012 in Great Yarmouth Library. Closed through Lock Down, we reopened summer 2022 and continued to rebuild our role in the community.

The café features a range of teas, fresh coffee and cold drinks, as well as freshly made Pizza, sandwiches, panini, jacket potatoes and delicious homemade sweets and savouries. We also offer a selection of international food choices including Baklava and salgadinhos.

Due to the relocation of Gt Yarmouth library, the cafe closed in August 2023. GYROS then relocated to the Silver Darlings cafe at the Time & Tide Museum which is now also permanently CLOSED.
